"Together we can face any challenges as deep as the ocean and as high as the sky."
My love for photography began back in high school where I took my first black and white photography class. Spending time developing film and prints in the dark room really spoke to me. There is something special about time and developing your work.
I then went on to get my BFA in Photography at Pacific Northwest College of Arts, Portland, Or.
After returning to Hawaii I started my photography business, photographing families and couples. As I grew I began to shoot couples, weddings and events as well as worked for another photography company.
But there was always something special about families, which leads me back to where I am today.
When working with me I don't just want to take your picture, I strive to build a connection with each and everyone of my clients.
I want you will feel comfortable, confident, and most importantly have fun!
As a military family we are always on the move. Our favorite thing to do in between relocating is to visit national parks along our way. During our move from Hawaii to Kansas last summer, we visited a total of 8 parks. I was between 26-28 weeks pregnant and we had a blast. I can not wait to see what this summer will bring!
Sweet Pea Carter aka Adalynn Fern Carter was born on October 2, 2017. Fashionably late on her due date, this girl is a character. I think it's safe to say we are all the no. 1 fan of our kiddos so I will spare you mushy talk but this girl is a gem. She keeps me on my toes and is a totally chatterbox.
Don't be surprised if you see her on my back at our shoot. She is there for pure entertainment.
Now this is a pup I don't mind gushing about. Ruby Dee my first baby and girls best friend. I adopted Ruby from the Oregon Humane Society when I was in college. This girl has been with me through thick and thin. At 14 years young she is hanging in there.
Though her glory days of long walks and chasing after squirrels are over she is the best big sister and nap buddy a girl could ask for.
